John Wu (Bsc, JD, MBA)

Head Coach

John started Evocation Academy with the goal of building out the best mock trial team in Canada, and then the world. Along the way he’s worked with hundreds of brilliant students, helping them gain the skills, confidence, and experience needed to become tomorrow’s leaders.

John is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, and currently runs his own law firm - Apex Corporate Law.

Paul Zhang (LLB, LLM)

Senior Coach

A former student at Evocation Academy, Paul was inspired by his time at the program to pursue a career in law. Paul has studied law at King’s College, London, as well as Georgetown University, DC. He is currently in the licensing process, and is expected to become a lawyer in 2026.

Allison Wang (HBA, JD)

Allison is currently in the fourth year of the JD / HBA program at Western University.
